BOTL Cigar Safari 2014 Pre-funk in Miami, Jan. 27th & 28th

Just booked my tix with Jeff today - he hooked me up with round-trip first class and saved me nearly $3 grand! Just came down to timing. So, for those of you arriving early in Miami like me, where do you stay? I was trying to get a room at the Raleigh but it's booked solid for the next 8-9 months. Also booked up is the hotel at MIA Concourse E. Suggestions? Have friends in the Art Deco district, so thinking about a place on or near Ocean.

I have my flight to and from Miami booked, but have not book the flight to Nic. yet. I don't know much about places to stay in Miami, but was thinking about staying at the Hilton by the airport.

I Need to get on this. What airline do they have you booked on. I have frequent flyer miles with delta that I would like to use but I'm guessing that the delta flights are not coming and going to Nica at the correct times.

Im not going on the safari this year (really wanted to.. but another trip is getting in the way...)...

but if youre looking for an inexpensive fare.. Taca and Copa airlines both fly out of MIA to Nica daily I believe (they used to).. and are actually pretty decent (every bit as decent as American Airlines.. who is the primary US carrier I fly with into LATAM)... you might want to check and see what flights they offer...

I believe they try to book you all on the same flight to Nica for pick up coordination.... don't think you have control of airline etc.

I am flying to and from Miami on Delta. I believe the flights to Nica are with AA. I have the info that Jeff sent to me a couple of months ago. If you want it let me know.

DO NOT stay at the Ocean 5 Hotel as it's awful. The National and The Clevelander are famous and nice.

This. You HAVE TO book through their agent (he will save you $$$$) in order to get everyone on the same flight into Managua.
