boveda and hygrometer question

Is it normal for Bovedas kept in a Tupperware container or ziplock to show up as being a few degrees higher with a hygrometer? I have some small 62% bovedas and my hygrometers say "65". Both are calibrated using the same salt so there's a possibility they are both off, but I am wondering if anyone else has some experience here. I kept a different digital hygrometer for a few hours in a Zip-Lock storage container with some Havana Classicos and noticed the same thing happening, the hygrometer read a solid 65.

In my experience, I give +/- 2 degrees or RH (relative humidity), with both analog and digital hygrometers. I think I remember reading somewhere that the RH from the Boveda packs are within this range as well. It's never usually a "dead-on" reading for me. Hope that helps.

You can get a Calibration pack from Boveda,I wouldn't trust the salt test, too easy for me to get the ratio wrong.
