I fondly remember waking up around 11:00, with a hangover, ordering some grub like pizza or subs, cracking a brew and watching college football on New Years' Day.

Alas, there are no NCAA football games today, though, as a sidenote, I dig the NFL.

The nfl plays on Sunday's. the 1st just happens to fall on Sunday this year. Therefore, college games take a back seat or a couple day delay. There is no justice, just rescheduling.

This is not the first New Years' Sunday. I think it's the first without NCAA football though.

I know what you mean! I was all pumped to see UT smash USC today! I'm glad I was drunk when they told me that the game got postponed. . . I didn't have the engergy to get violent

I'm really considering driving down to Austin to go out and watch there. . . I'm sure it's gonna be nuts! If I do. . . I'll definately be drunk!
