Box codes

Okay so since purchasing the new igloodor I've been in the process of filling it for aging. One of my purchases was 3 10ct boxes of Partagas SP2's. I figured one to smoke and 2 to lay down. Now the box code on these are POS ENE06. So my question is this, have I read correctly that these are from Jan of last year? If so does that not mean I'm starting out with these a year ahead of the game? Pretty nice thing if that's the case. One other note, all three were different color wrappers. One was deep Colorado Brown (gorgeous), the other a bit lighter (very nice) and the last almost a light green (fuuugly). I have tried the greenies though and they sure are tasty.

thats fine,i get a couple of the same boxes at once,sometimes..and the wrappers very in color from box to box,,,,but never really in the same box.

Yea, they're from Januaray of 2006. Just consider that a blessing :wink: A

As for the wrapper colors, IIRC, there are around 60-70 shades a wrapper can have. No worries.

Yeah, I figured that about the colors. Like I say, even though those ones are sure ugly, there is nothing wrong with the taste. I sure love those PSP2's!

yeah I hear ya chuck...Spanish would have been a much better language to learn, not that many french-speaking americans.

I am very pleased that you speak French. It is such a useful language when 50% of the United States speaks Spanish well.

Don't know German.

Or you speak a useful language like Portuguese that is more ??? than Spanish.

The PSP2's from the first quarter of 06 are all fantastic. They're going to get much, much better with age, I think, but they're fantastic even now. Interestingly, earlier ones - say summer of 05 - aren't nearly as good.
