I think it's ridiculous that (yesterday) Amarillo Freakin Texas was within a degree or two of being the coldest spot in the country. We got board in class and look all over the world to find a colder, civilized area. Amarillo was colder than, Moscow, Nome, Stockholm, Turku, various cities in Siberia, Edmonton (most were in the 20's and 30's), the only place colder, and I've yet to find ANY place colder than there, is Winnipeg Manitoba weighing in at -17/-36... that sucks, I don't know what is wrong with that city that it gets that much colder than everywhere else, but I pity those people (who are probably used to it)

edit: granted some of those places were in their afternoon temps, but we never broke 20 yesterday
