Buena Vista Social Club documentary/concert

Found a wonderful documentary-concert of the Buena Vista Social Club, some of the greatest traditional Cuban music we are able to listen to.

This can be found here at Hulu.

The documentary footage is awesome as it gives a glimpse of 1998 Havana - WOW!

The Buena Vista Social Club station on my Pandora is a well-played station. Love it!

Check out the CD "Cachaito" by BVSC bassist Orlando Lopez. Good stuff.

I saw Ibrahim Ferrer a few years back before he died... one of the best concerts I've ever seen. The man could barely walk but he could still sing and work the crowd with a ferocity young punks can't match.

Most of the studio footage from BVSC the film is during the recording of the first follow-up record to the original BVSC album, which was Ibrahim Ferrer's solo record. After that disc sold well, they continued to do records with each of the featured musicians in the BVSC film... everyone of those albums is phenomenal.
