Burn question for the big brothers

Newb here with a ? for some experienced brothers...I've smoked a number of this La Gloria Cubana Rabito de Cochino with zero burn issues, but tonight it kept flaring up at the end like crazy!!! And had some touch up issues. It was like this from the start and my buddy smoked one too from my humidor as well with zero issues. I've never had this problem with this cigar, what could have caused this?

Are you just talking about the ash spreading? The burn looks relatively a ok but yeah the ash doing that shouldn't affect your smoking experience!

nope, had that with that same cigar, it is construction. that divide is between what was the bunch on the filler. looks to be a good burn line, so good lighting, smoking, and storage, so aside from aesthetics i see no issue.

oh, and keep the ash tray handy, or be prepared to sport the grey paisley of the fallen ash shirt. o)

Thanks guys, was just real frustrating as ash just kept exploding in my lap, but this was the only one so I'll take it on the chin.
