Cafe Monteverde

I was gifted 1lb of Cafe Monteverde coffee today. I've never tried or even heard of this coffee.
Has anyone tried this coffee?
Before I get flamed, I do like Black Dog Coffees and will continue to support Brian. I'm just looking for opinions on this.
