Cain Straight Ligero

Tonight's smoke was the Cain Straight Ligero by Olivia. This very peppery medium bodied cigar made a lasting impression on the cigar club with solid construction and even flavor throughout. The nuances of toasty coffee lingered on the palette after letting the smoke cool but not before giving you a one two punch of pepper and spice on the draw. Beautifully constructed, with a solid cap and tightly rolled filler did not take away from it's thick powerful draw. Wrapper and construction were identical throughout the box as if these things were cloned in a lab. All in all we gave it an 85, docking it on flavor (some found the pepper a little overwhelming) more than anything but even then still came out on top. This is definitely a smoke to have at least 5 in the humidor for after a big dinner with cup of your favorite joe.
