Camping upstate NY

Brothers in the Upstate NY area

We are looking to camp in the Lake George/Adirondacks area
about 14 families. probably 3 families will get cabin/rv onsite rental
and the rest will be in tents. Big group right?

Any suggestions?

We have lake front property in Hague, but I dont think that there is enough room for 14 families..

I've camped up around Cooperstown, not Lake George. Sounds like fun Gene!

im sorry, not to knock your guys camping trip, but i cant envision "camping" and "NY" in the same sentence. even though i know that some of NY state is beautiful, i picture a tent pitched in Central Park!!! okemyeye

Vivid Kirsc, vivid! New York is not to be mistaken for New York City.
The state of New York reaches up to Canadian Border just like Wisconsin.
In fact the capital of the State of NY is Albany which is a good two hour drive or less from New York City.

Lake George is great. We used to rent a house ont he lake and hual the boat up when we lived in CT. Fun place and a beautiful lake.
