Cancun LCDH, anyone?

Not leaving for a few months yet, but I am looking forward to a trip to Cancun this summer

Of course as law abiding citizens, none of us would would ever actually BUY any Havanas while abroad, but I am wondering if anyone has recently visited the LCDH shop in Cancun?

Is it well stocked? Is it easy to find? (I have the address)

I am familiar with the LCDH in Mexico City (Palanco). It's small, but PACKED with cigars...Wish I could have just stuffed the entire shop into a humidified shipping container and slapped my addres on it!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, I have been there. It's actually quite nice, they have a decent selection and prices are ok, regular LCDH type prices. They have a bar there and there's a nice amount of space there. I have pictures of their stock somewhere, I'll see if I can dig it up.

It's right on the side of the road so it's both easy to find and easy to miss, but you should have no trouble getting there.

My advice is only buy at a LCDH. If Pedro offers you a Cohiba Esplendido for $6 on the beach it is not a good deal. LMAO.

I have never bought from anywhere but LCDH when travelling. It is THE rule to live by, unless you are a newbie and don't mind a "good" knockoff

Even the nicest hotels around the world get duped into buying counterfeit stock without even knowing it.

Yeah the Cancun LCDH is nice. They even have a small outside deck that where you can sit. Depending on where you stay in Cancun you can take the bus right there. We stayed past LCDH in Cancun so the bus let us off 1 block past the store. It was very convenient.
