Cannot get a Xikar hygrometer calibrated...advice??

Added yet another desktop humidor, man I really need to build a coolidor, to my armada and this guy didn't come with a hygrometer. No problem bought a brand new Xikar unit with humidity and temp. Buy a new boveda calibration kit.

Tried 3 times now to get this calibrated, at this point I'll do the math, but I can only get it to read 90%. Reset it to 75 and it then it won't budge off of 75% (outside of kit and humidor) as if it's not reading correctly.

I know I'm a dumbass, but geeeeeeeez. Any advice?

Try taking the battery out. That will reset it. Then try to recalibrate it from there. If you still have problems I'd say send it back. As a side note I have 3 of those units and they all work very well for me so far.
