Hello,

I'm wondering about Romeo and Julietas decision to wrap their Coronitas en Cedro in those pretty cedar sleeves. The sleeve covers just about the entire cigar except for the tip of the head.

Yes i it may impart a hint of cedar aroma but i am suspecting it was probably done to hide the lovely dalmation pattern on the capa.

I have never seen such lovely, perfectly symmetrical, fluorescent green water spots. Some of the puritos come in not one or two but several artistically lain green spots that complement that lovely cafe con leche brown wrapper.

oh well. it definitely gives these otherwise not that remarkable puritos a bit of character and charm.

I like them. decent flavour and burn, excellent size and spectacular price.
i will most likely buy another box next year.
regards,
m.a.d.

Have not had one of thoes but I do like the flavor of the ceder wrapped short shurchills in the tubos. I think RyJ makes very good cuban smokes.

Your not the first to point out the possible reason for covering the wrapper. I have a couple, and the wrappers are a little off colour, but otherwise fine.

you're gonna get what you pay for. A cigar that cheap, is not going to be beautiful, but it is good and affordable.

I also enjoy these...

While the wrapper colors have been inconsistent, the flavors haven't been. Not the most complex cigar out there but a tasty treat at a damn good price!

I picked another coronita to take a picture and smoke. This one doesn't have the crazy green spots but is similar.

I do agree on consistency. This is my third from the same box and the flavours are decent (mellow and relaxing for me) but the burn and draw have been pretty darn good on all three.

smoked a box coronitas en cedro 10 or 12 years ago...they did have some flaws in the wrapper if i remember correctly...liked them enough to get another box tho.

i dont worry too much about visual aesthetics with my cigars...flavour strength burn etc all come first.
