Post this years pumpkins that you carved or another years I guess it does not matter. But here is what I did:
I did pick up a few techniques/ideas when I was doing this and next year I know my gourds will be looking way more cooler and detailed. The trick is to scrape the inside really thin like about a half inch no less then all you have to do is cut off the orange outer membrane of the gourd and that will be thin enough to let the light show through. I discovered this after I had carved both of them and I was touching them up while lit.
Very fun art medium. To bad pumpkins are not cheaper and available all years round.
Oh yea and can you tell what they are or did I mess them up that bad???
