After watching the game tomorrow from the student section, I'm considering opening up my college budget to grab a cigar after we win (which I'm assuming based on all the data). I can only choose from what's around the area at the lounges since I don't really have anything all that great, but I was wondering what you guys suggested as celebration cigars. Also, will anyone else be doing the same in or out of the area, or similar for the other team?

As a Wolverine I plan on lighting up an Opus X tomorrow after win or loss so either to celebrate or to wash away the pain lol

What do you like to smoke? Ruins the moment to take someone's recommendation on a celebratory cigar and it not be your cup of tea.

I have a tradition of smoking a CAO Brazilia after every Spartan victory dating back to my freshman year in 2003. I'm confident that I'll be able to continue the tradition tomorrow after the game!

I haven't been to EL in a few years, but I'd typically stop in at Campbell's and pick up a smoke before the game.

Well I've only had a handful, but a Padron might be something to try for sure. The lounges around here aren't very high quality to be honest, one has barely a selection at all and prefers to make their own, the other is more of a tobacco shop in general with a lounge attached, it's a little disconcerting there though they have a better selection. As for Campbells, I haven't been there yet since it isn't really a lounge parse. I'll have to get the cigars after, I don't have a way to keep them yet and the dorms don't really have a good humidity or temperature variance.

Campbells is never open on the weekends it seems and an Opus would be really pushing my budget lol. I settled on an Oliva Connecticut since that seemed to be what the lounge in Okemos had just gotten in. Not the most celebratory thing but it was for me. They won like I knew they would, but the tailgating parties after were pretty much nowhere to be found sadly. There was a group of older guys smoking large cigars around a few tents on my walk to the stadium but it was very crowded so I didn't really have any way to join in on the conversation with guys I didn't know. I looked to see if they'd be having some celebratory cigars together after but they were gone.

As others have said, just go for something familiar that you know you will enjoy, rather than smoking something new that may not agree with your palate. (Or has the game already been played? LOL!!)
