Need to get a replacement cell phone at work as my 2 yr old LG VX4500 is having lots of problems ... short battery life, poor connectivity + voice clarity, etc.

I have a choice between:

LG VX8100
Motorola RAZR
Samsung 950

Anone using any of these models?

I know several people with the Razor and seem to be happy with it?

They are great. I use one. My only problem is earpiece volume. Its hard to hear the other person on the other end at times. You cant make it loud enough.

I'll be getting a razr on july 10th when my Cellular South contract expires. I really do wish they'd carry better phones because the selection is kind of limited.

a lot of cell phone sales people say, you want features get a LG, you want quality get a Moto.

I have always owned Moto's and love them. I will be getting a razr soon. Both my parents have them and love them.

I have the Razr, have since the day it came out... I like it, dont love it but like it a lot... It is the only phone that I have ever had this long... I love the size, and the fact that I can check and write emails on it... The earpiece volume is a little suspect at times, but it is something that I have gotten over.

I use my bluetooth headset as much as possible...

Well my Treo 650 didn't fair as well as I would have liked when I took it for a swim. (oooops) Looking into the Cingular 8125. I need to be able to hook up laptop and use it as modem. I think this one will do it. Have to do more research, but so far the 8125 is in the lead.

I have the Razr. I like it, but not everyone does. There is an issue with the earpiece where if you open the phone and put it to your ear without making a call you were hear a constant, low volume, high pitched buzz. It's annoying as hell, but fixed by simply not doing the above (no idea why I did it in the first place). I actually had to just check to make sure it was still doing it, lol. Battery life is not the best. I have a car charger and a wall charger and I keep it charged as much as possible. It usually will last a couple days for me, but I'm not on it all the time either.

Like I said, I like it, but here's the complaints I've heard:
Fragile. I know some who have already gone through two or three. Get the insurance.
Short battery life.
Flat buttons, while cool looking, can be difficult to dial with.

Get yourself a bluetooth headset with this bugger, they are cheap (don't pay more than $39) and they make the phone that much more handy.

The RAZR is working out great. I'm getting much better reception at home and other "fringe" areas vs my old LG phone and I really like the bluetooth hands-free device.
