So earlier in the week I noticed signs of a house mouse, no problem, I set a trap and sanitized the said area. I come home tonight to find our pet hampster has gotten out, now I have dedicated time to look for the hampster and not find the mouse, but the possible point of entry.

Yay, I am now looking for a lost hampster and a house mouse. I am lucky I keep the humane mouse traps, as I am setting those all over the freaking house now. I keep hoping to find them in a fight to the death, however, this ranks up on my really f*cked up lifetime experiences!

I think I will take this down for a story for the grandkids, as I am still thinking....what the heck!

You gotta get one of those electric traps...Zaps those little F'rs every time. Of course you might want to find the Hampster first.

LOL, I keep hoping to find them on the coffee table duking it out, the irony of this is spinning through my head. The old lady can not get why I keep laughing as I look, I just have that much of a sick sense of humor!

maybe they'll mate, and you can interbreed the babies to create a new species of pet rodent. you could have hundreds in about a year!

on a more somber note, my brother and i each had a female hamster when we were kids. the books said 2 females would get along fine together, but mine ripped my brother's to shreds after we left them alone together for a couple of hours.
