Hi guys, I'm Alex from Chicago. I'll be honest. I know next to nothing about cigars. I know there are different shapes like topedos and coronas and that's about it. I've had a cigar once every blue moon, but just never really got into it. After smoking a Cuban H Upmann with fellow brother @daverutherford61 last night though, I think the lightbulb went off for me. It was a smooth smoke the whole way through and it was a most enjoyable experience. I feel like I have a baseline for what I enjoy now, and I'll be looking forward to checking out the forums here for advice and recommendations in the future.
As far as my current stash, I kind of stumbled into a gift of a few cubans recently, so I figured I would take this hobby a little more seriously. I'm seasoning a humidor right now, but in the meantime I have a tupperware with a bovada pack for storage.
Lastly, besides cigars, I figure I'll tell a little more about myself. I'm a pretty big beer guy, not a snob though. I happen to be drinking a Zombie dust at the moment. I'm also huge nerd and I'm into RPGs whether they be PS4 or PC. I'm currently replaying FFIX and leaning towards it being just a hair above VII right now. And I'm also about the most die hard Cubs fan out there. I think this is going to be the year although I have been saying that going on 20 years running now. That's about it, hopefully I can add something to BOTL while I'm here.
