Very cool pics!
Every year, as a gift, my wife and I exchange ornaments to put up the next year. It's a cool tradition. Goes back to when we started dating in 2001. I'll have to post some pics of some of the ones she's gotten me. They include, "Smoked" Salmon... it had a martini and cigar, a couple different Martini glass ornaments, etc. She picks some great ones! Her mom got me and my son German pickled ornaments. Are you familiar with the legend behind it? It's not a true German thing, but it's a German immigrant tradition. You hide a pickle in the tree on Christmas eve, and you have to find it to get a special treat. (Of course, I'm sure some perv here will twist this story into something naughty!)
My wife is from a large, Catholic German family. So, they have TONS of tradition. My parents passed early in my life, and I really never had any traditions. So, it's nice to share in hers, and we try to get some started in our own little family! Christmas is my wife's favorite holiday and season of the year!!

All my cigar-related ornaments are in the country... Setting up that tree next week. I hate doing the work, but enjoy when it's all decorated. That's why I do it early...
