Smoking a Mi Barrio and drinking a Chocolate Stout by Rogue brewery. What a fantastic combo, they go perfect together. Watching Glee on TV (I get shit for it but its a great show!). Its a good night.

So what is your favorite beer and cigar combo? Comacho Corojo goes great with Guiness.

I started one tonite that I thought was pretty damn good, I tried a New Holland "Dragon's Milk" and paired it with a LFD Air Bender Chisel and the combo was damn good!

It is a great night! I am outside on my patio drinking the same thing (Rogue Christmas Stout) and smoking a Punch Diadema Exclusivo Italia. It is the first one I am smoking from my honeymoon in Rome. It's a great combo so far.

Coincidentally....I too had a Rogue Chocolate Stout tonight. It was excellent....as was the Bear Republic Big Bear Stout that followed it!

The most recent best cigar/beer experience I've had....this past Saturday....Port Brewing Old Viscosity, and a Tatuaje Reserva SW Maddie. That pairing didn't suck.

Any of you guys ever have the anchor Christmas brew? Great beer with a woam...
Love the Anchor Christmas brew! Haven't tried it with any cigars, but I've got one waiting for me in the fridge.

I have 2 favorite combos: Illusione 2 with Anchor Steam, and Tatuaje Noella with an Arrogant Bastard.

Try the Old Viscosity (Even try Older and Oldest) and a Cojonu 2003 or a Havana Leon. Great combo's!

I've seen the Older Viscosity where I buy the regular Old....but it's like $15.99, and the bottle is quite a bit smaller. That's a tough sell, but I'd imagine it must be pretty damn great. That must make the Oldest like $20+ a bottle??

One of these times I'll bite the bullet and grab one, just to see. Is it worth that much over the regular Old V. you think?

At my local spot, the older is $12.99 and the oldest is $16.99. I pussed out the first time as well, but pulled the trigger the second time. Figured I would buy two really good brews instead of 6-8 22 ouncers. I did drink them on separate days which is kind of strange to me :innocent:

Just had the Anchor Steam Christmas brew today, was fantastic. Had a LFD Ligero Maduro with it, went good together.

I thought I'd check out this thread and find that the members who've posted have good taste in beer, the microbrews and those that use creative recipes.

I've gotten to the point that I'd rather drink water than what passes for beer from the big breweries.

But lately I've been drinking Jack Daniel's.

But unlike the members who've posted, I never drink anything but water or coffee when I'm smoking a cigar or a pipes, which I've smoked for nine years. When I smoke either, I just want the taste of the tobacco, not the tobacco flavored by a drink.

I use cinnamon stick and toothbrushing accompanied by gargling and swishing with a 1:3 solution of hydrogen peroxide to water to clear my palate.

One of my favorites is the local Troegs Javahead Stout and a Rc184.

Right though my peat smoked strong ale is rocking with most medium bodied smokes and especially tasty with some Penzance pipe tobacco.
