What is the consensus on Padilla Habano cigars? I haven't really smoked any padilla stuff but I have the opportunity to buy Padilla Habano Toro or Torp for $40 a box(20 cigars per box) shipped, plus extras added to it from someone who is trying to make room in their humi. Seems like too good a deal to pass up. If I don't end up liking them, do you think their flavor profile would be good for handout cigars to moochers and newbies that I smoke with from time to time?

While I'm at it, here are some of the other singles I have a opportunity to buy. Prices range from $0.50-2.00 per stick shipped. Any thoughts on them for personal use or giveaway cigars for new smokers I smoke with?

Padilla miami
Padilla Series 68
Padilla Obsidian Belicoso
Man O' War Double Corona
Quintero Belicoso Natural

Thanks for all the info you can give me guys!

For that price, you can't really go wrong. If you don't like them, they are perfect cigars to have around like you said. I really liked the Miami's, but haven't had them in awhile.

Some people will tell you that Padilla went downhill after he ended his partnership with Pepin, but you should judge yourself and not let other people decide what you do and don't like. I personally have stayed away from Padilla since then, but the main reason is that I like other cigars more and don't have any room for "just okay" cigars for my taste profile.

The Miami sticks are yummy. If you get them and don't like them, if they are in good shape, I know of a willing buyer...:cjump:

Not a fan of the Padillas and I've never had the Quintero but you can't go wrong with the MOW at that price, I suggest jumping on this :)

Pad habano is great at $2 per.
Miami used to be a fav, but not much anymore for me. The obsidian are tough draw and very strong, for $1 it's ok.

Yeah I would probably buy it all but my college budget is a bit tight so thats why I'm trying to decide exactly what I want and how many. I'm sure I won't be able to buy everything but I'm getting more info on how many singles this guy has for sale of the different lines.

I don't know if this is the correct area but if anyone is interested in the boxes or singles I've mentioned, PM me. Anything I don't buy would be up for grabs. I'd like to hook up both you guys with a great deal and the seller with an outlet for the smokes hes trying to clear out.

the 68's are my favorite coffee noted smoke
Yeah I bought some of his 68 toro's last week but haven't smoked any. I think the only 68's he has left are lancero's. Not my favorite size but I might have to pick some up anyways.

haven't had the quientero but for me padilla are solid sticks. Nothing real fancy depends on if they are your style or not. Good deal at those prices and work perfect for handing out to someone who wants to "try" a cigar. nothing worse than giving a newb a primo cigar and see them toss it after a couple puffs.
