Very few cigars get me buzzed, but I've had some that just left me thinking, Wow, I feel like I've been drinking, but I haven't (much anyway). This morning I smoked an oldie that gave me a mild buzz, and I noticed the tip of my tounge and lips got a bit numb. Most buzzed I've gotten from a current production stick has been off the Don Carlos Aniv. Toro and the first time more so than any time after, so something in me likely was different that day.

Anyway, what has been your experiences with gettin buzzed off cigars? and does it have more to do with us, the cigar or the combination of the two?

I grabbed this little LFD chizzle tip one day. I had been gifted it a while back and decide dit looked like a nice short smoke for the ride home. Well I found a thing on craigslist that I had to have and left about 10:30 am from the office for about a half hour drive. I figured What the hell I'll smoke it now. Mind you I eat breakfast about 5:30. I wasn't half way though this thing before I was dizzy and feeling sick to my stomach. I still can't stomach an LFD chizzle even on a full stomach. I find that food helps alot to prevent it, but once the nicotine hits, a couple spoon fulls of sugar helps knock down it's effect.

I haven't gotten the buzz, but that's probably because I smoke cigarettes too. But I have noticed my lips getting numb with some cigars

I'll tell you what, I got bit by a tick a few months back and took preventative antibiotics in case it had lyme disease. I decided to fire up a smoke one day when I was on them
(Just a Torano Exodus toro) and I felt so buzzed I had to sit down for 15 minutes. Last time I smoked until I got off the meds. The point is, if you smoke fairly regularly, it's usually something out of the ordinary that you've done.

don't get that sick feeling often. Had it a few times always when smoking on an empty stomach. Had a padilla 1932 robusto yesterday that left me a little messed. I had to eat right after. my rule of thumb is to always have something in my belly before smoking.

I get a buzz every so often from certain full body sticks. I never really feel sick, it's more of a light headedness and I get a little slouchy/lazy, it's usually enjoyable. I had a nice buzz going off a CG:4 a just smoked down.

I actually get nic buzzes alot but I power smoke way to often. Epsecially when Im really enjoying something. But 1 smoke in general that for some god forsaken reason puts the hammer down is the Oliva O perfecto. I had 1 last week again from a box a year old and taled to Alfo on the phone. 40 mins later which way did he go, which way did he go. ( and I did a T110 when they 1st came out on empty stomach 1 day not much to it believe it or not. Buzz yes heavy no.)

My first T110 and my first Ruination gave me a buzz. Both were smoked on an empty stomach.

I got a buzz last weekend when I smoked a Boris on an empty stomach. Later that day, after eating, I smoked a T110 which promptly put me down for a good 5 minutes. Didn't feel bad, just a little dizzy after I stood up. I won't smoke on an empty stomach again though; on the other hand the T110 is just a strong mofo.

I got a nic buzz after reading all these post. I must be a lightweight. I got a bad buzz one afternoon when me and my boss went to look at china for the club. I had an empty stomach and he drives like a maniac when I got back to the club I felt pretty yucky.

Last one that got me was an Oliva V Figurado. Smoked it on an empty stomach and by the end I was a little swimmy headed. It's only happened to me once or twice in 8 years. I tend to think that for me it's smoking something full bodied on an empty stomach.

I remember the first few cigars I smoked having a slight light headedness. It went away with time. It's most likely because I had never smoked anything before in my life. I haven't had any sort of buzz since, but I always take my time when I smoke. I like to enjoy it.

Cool to get the feedback. I like vintage and one of my favorite times to smoke them is first thing in the morning with coffee on an empty stomach, so maybe that is why I think alot of the vintage gets me buzzed. I don't have a problem with feeling sick though, that only happened once and it wasn't buzzed and sick, I just got sick. Buzzed I like.

I find that the La Joya De Nic Antono 1970 will get me buzzed, also LFD ligero's and Opus'. It happens more when I have not smoked in a while also and on an empty stomach.
