Got a delivery of cigars today. They have been sitting on my porch for around two hours in 20 degree weather. Anything special I should do with them and how much time should I give them before smoking. Thanks

I would leave them in room temperature for a day then throw them in the humi. Drastic temp changes could result in an unraveling wrapper.

a few months in your trunk without humidification!??! and living in nj, i have my fair share of cold deliveries. i usually just let them acclimate in my house before throwing em in my humi, as to avoid any cold+humidification problems.

Here in KC I've gotten many of single digit temp deliveries in the winter that sat for a few hours until I got off work. I put them straight into the humidor, after admiring my purchase for a few minutes of course, never had a problem. FWIW, I rarely smoke any cigars that haven't been sitting in my humidor for at least a month regardless of time of year delivery.
