well, while reorganizing my humi to put a package together i dropped a cromagnon atlatl and caught it between the table and my hand putting a little dent near the cap.

does anybody have any good experience with cigar glue? or would i be better off just cutting this one about 3/4" in and "cut my losses"?

rookie move...

I'd just cut it like normal and smoke it. But that's just me. Post a pic so some more experienced brothers have a reference point.

I use fruit pectin and have had good luck with it. You can get it at any grocery store in the canning section. It comes as a powder, just mix it with distilled water until its a glue like consistancy.

I will have to look into the polar glue, I have had good success with pectin.
Heartfelt sells it. Worth the price of admission. Not saying it's necessarily "better" than pectin as I'm certainly not an authority on the matter, but it's saved me a ton on reviving damaged sticks, it's applicator is very convenient, and it's no mess or mixing required.

Well, it adheres the wrapper back down to itself or the binder, and you can use more as a "patch" for small pinholes, but if you had extensive damage you might need an extra piece of wrapper to cover the damage. I haven't noticed any appreciable difference in flavor personally nor would I expect to. It's just cellulose glue. Ingredients listed are water and ethyl cellulose.
