Hey guys, being the cigar nerd that I am, I like To know everything and anything when it comes to my smokes. I enjoy knowing the back story, specs, and all that encompasses the smoke. What I'm looking for as well, is some literature or reading online or books that maybe some of you have come across regarding this wonderful hobby of cigars. History regarding about cigars, cigar people, families of tobacco growers, etc. I enjoy reading and doing so about a topic I am passionate would be a huge plus.

So brothers...any suggestions?!

The Gourmet Guide to Cigars by Paul Garmiranian.

Haha just kidding. It's only good as a coaster. At best.

IIRC, Ryan (vivalanation) has/had a good book about the Cuban tobacco industry. Maybe he'll chime in.

Well, if you can get your hands on a copy of Min Ron Nee's Illustrated Encyclopaedia of Post-Revolution Havana Cigars, it should keep you busy for a while.

I read The Ultimate Cigar Book by Richard Hacker last Summer. Lots of good history from different regions. You can get it at Amazon (used) for about $7. I really enjoyed it.
