Some of the recent threads that have been posted, the visit to Nat Sherman's in NYC, doing the Kentucky Bourbon Trail, Casa Fuente in Vegas and the Drew Estate trip to Nicaragua got me thinking...

What would be on your list of top 5 places that are cigar related that everyone should see?

Could be top 5 you've been or that you just wish you could go to, or both....doesn't even have to be 5.

I'm just curious where cigar smokers daydream about visiting, or at the least places you think its worth others to go see what you have seen.....related to cigars.

Ive been to Cigar Inn, Barclay Rex (both locations) Doc James (both locations), and Cigar Republic (my favorite)

I plan on visiting Nat Shermans next time I am in the city for non business reasons.

My cigar related place I want to see though is Casa Fuente and La Casa De Habanos

The ones i want to visit

Casa Fuente
Nat Shermans
Havana
little Havana
Esteli

All on my cigar bucket list
Little havana, nice....my friend from Miami always used to talk about getting cuban coffee, but cigars he never mentioned.

Is that where a lot of the factories are or is just the Cuban culture aspect you want to visit?

Sh*#, I'd just be happy going to Drew Estate in Nicaragua. Other than that my favorite trips are wherever my friends are. So probably California, Kentucky and Ohio. I am sure there are about another 40 some states as well. ;)

Personally, I think Little Havana is very overrated. I live in South Florida, and I've been down there. Most of the stores offer their personal hand rolls (which aren't good), fake Cuban Cohibas, or cigars you can get in any store in South Florida. I didn't see any HTF stuff as they cater to tourists who generally don't know a lot about cigars. The better stores are away from Little Havana, and their prices are more reasonable. I felt the same way when I went to Ybor City in Tampa.

My list would be:

1. Casa Fuente
2. Casa de Montecristo in IL
3. Corona Smoke Shop in Orlando
4. Nicaragua
5. La Romana in DR or other cigar areas in DR

The free samples at my father would be nice, and I bet it's an impressive place.

Just me strolling around in a shopping cart.

Untill now my list only had on it. Casa Fuente, Esteli (Drew Estate in particular), Corona Cigar Company in Orlando, and Havana, Cuba. The last one would probably be the Carnegie Club in NYC.

I've been lucky to cross off the top 3 of my bucket list... Little Havana, Esteli and Cuba and all were great. That first trip is the reason for my avatar. :)

A few things off the top of my head:
- Go back to Cuba
- Ajay's shop in London (didn't go there in September like I wanted... his shop is outside of London quite a ways)
- Jimmy Ng's shop in Singapore (one of best collections in the world)
- Chill with Rob's crew in Australia
- Any LCDH around the world
- Andorra
- Geneva
- Grand Havana Room, New York

You better start saving your money!?! LOL I'm guessing it's too pretentious for my liking anyway... but just out of curiosity I wouldn't mind going.
