So my wonderful wife is setting up part 2 of my birthday gift (the first was taking me to eat at Graycliff) and I will be taking part in a cigar rolling lesson that Graycliff does. I know that they will be thorough and teach me it all there "The lesson begins with the history of tobacco, where the best leaves come from, and why you blend certain leaves together to make the award winning Graycliff cigars", but needless to say I cant wait and I remember seeing some threads where people have talked about having rolled before. So...I was just wondering what you thought of it and what pointers you have. Thanks!

It's really hard to give pointers other than patience! Just take your time, listen to your trainer and enjoy what you are doing. I've only rolled a cigar once and it was with Pepin Garcia, Jaime Garcia, Janny Garcia and Pete Johnson watching so needless to say I was nervous as hell! LOL A group of us did a rolling competition at the My Father factory and Cyrann (Matt) won it, so ask him. :)

Have fun, what a great bday gift your wife got you!

Wouldn't you like to know?
"The lesson begins with the history of tobacco, where the best leaves come from,
So they are going to tell you that the best leaves come from Pinar Del Rio? I kid I kid but should be a great time. I have had mixed results with graycliff when they used to only produce really expensive cigars I was never let down now that they are showing up on discount sites and with cheaper lines they don't seem to be the same.
