Interesting thing happened to me today in Venice FL. When I asked what's new the shop pulled out a bag of some unbanded sticks , when I asked who made them he pointed to the guy that was walking out of the shop and said he makes them. What the heck ill try it for a fiver . Back at the motel I sparked it up with my after dinner coffee and holy hell what a nice smoke!! I'm going to make sure I get a travel humidor and fill it up with those smokes before I go back to the land of no b&m small New Mexico town.

One thing I wasn't ready for is that here in Florida the shops I've been into don't have humidors like they have out west, when I asked the guy about storage before I got it back to the room to light up he looked at me like I had 2 heads. In New Mexico 1 hr un humidified I'm getting nervous of the wrapper cracking and falling off.

Nevada and SoCal are the same. Remember a gallon zip lock and a boveda pack makes for a great transport device.

Thanks for the advice. The way things are going ill need more than my new travel case to get my sticks home
I have run into the same situation on a couple recent trips. My suggestion would be to head to W-mart or Tar-get and pick up some cheap food containers. They'll protect your gars and hold decent humidity without breaking the bank. Ziplocks work great also but you don't get the same protection.
