I have a newbie question about cigars in the humidor....I have several real nice cigars that I am saving for a special time i.e couple of opus, padron 64 ans 26,etc.etc. can I store these in the same humi? I have heard that over time the flavours will blend even if cigars a seperated by cedar strips...is this true and is it anything I should be concerned about? I cant by seperate humis for each cigar...:computer:

Wouldn't you like to know?
Depends on how long you are planning on storing them. Less the 5 years and I think you would be more likely to taste the cedar the the other cigar. And really they shouldn't change enough to be too much of an issue.

Just avoid infused cigars (i.e. Acids, Kahlua,...); if it's short term, no worries, like Aaron said.

Just for conversation, have any of you noticed a difference with any length of time? I am not one of those geneticly gifted guys that can taste very rare and detailed flavors, I pick up the major stuff and have never noticed a difference even with singles stored amix for over a decade.

So, anyone notice the "lightly toasted medium grind Jamacan Coffee bean" mixing with the "slightly over ripe coco bean harvested on a dewy morning" from the cigar next to it?
