On this day in 1862, the Mexican army defeated the French and sent them packing. and because of it, us Californians hoop it up with all the traditional Mexican fan fare!! Big day in San Diego!! so, i lift my Corona and toast their Country!!

now, quit killing each other so i can go back to Puerto Nuevo!!

cinco de mayo here in California is the typical, all these Mexicans causing accidents on the freeways or roads because they're drunk, or pulling guns and killing each other. on top of it, we have this world wide issues of swine flu.

Cinco de Mayo is pretty low key this year because of the swine flu. I was in San Antonio over the weekend and it was just like a normal weekend on the riverwalk. Nothing big, but still a lot of fun.
