City limits fishin!

Anyone seen that show on versus? I lived it today! My bro and a few friends got the bass bug itchin' so living in suburbia kinda restricts where we can fish and we decided to sneak our way into a gated community with a golf coarse so we got out there after hours and threw a few lines in and within 5 minutes they were hitting our plastics hard. Im a happy guy right now!

yeah dude we started out there cuz its always consistent but we got kicked out cuz its private so we took off and hit p the golf coarse ..

I go do some salt water every so often on a friends boat but when the water is 52 degrees what in gods name is biting thats worth it?

we went out with low expectations because the water is cold but we came back surprised that they bit!

yea when the water is that cold its brutal takes all the fun out of it. but now after readin this thread, i kinda want to throw a line in the pond sometime soon. i gotta catch this show sometime

I like stream fishing. When I go, I go to the North and South Forks of the Santa Ana River. Just me, my ultra light, and a dozen or so spinners.

When I was younger, I would do a backpacking/fishing trip just above Silver Lake every summer. I would do a loop around lakes Agnew, Gem, Waugh, and Clark. Someday I will do it again, but right now I would drop dead half way up to Agnew. If you are fit, it is a hell of a trip...except for the bears.

Watched the show this morning and they were fishing in LA. Catching Calico and Sand Bass. I fish year round except right now, snow is too deep to get my boat out of the garage. There is a lake near me that has a steam plant. Water never gets colder than 60 degrees.

Love thats show and so does my oldest boy. I got to take him fishing for the first time last year and he caught his first bass. a 30" 4 lbs small mouth in the St. Joe river. For some reason I can not get the pic to load. Asher was so excited and wants to fish everyday he can now.

I'm dying to get out fishing. But alas only Ice fishing in NY this time of year. I can't wait for bass season to start up again.

Im a fly fisherman at heart and mostly go for trout in the sierras. Ill take what I can get for now though.. there is some trout fishing in the local private scum lake but Im not going to pay $18 for a 5 fish limit. socal is gay for anything outdoors.. i'd love to go to north carolina to do some fishin
