So I returned from work last night at around 10 pm. I live with my brother but he just bought a house and is in the process of moving out. When i entered our house I noticed that the TV was missing and several of our kitchen appliances were on the living room floor (coffee maker, blender, etc). I thought this was a little strange but figured he was just sorting stuff. Then I get to the kitchen and notice that our kitchen window has been removed and the screen kicked in. Out comes the pistol. I searched the house and did not find anyone. My room was absolutely destroyed as well as our office. They ended up getting away with our 50 inch samsung flat screen hdtv and my brand new laptop. The funny thing is that I have two cabinet humidors, three desktops, a coolerdor, and a vinotemp full of cigars. They did not even touch them, thank god. The bastards even took my dogs collar off and then let him go, fortunately he came back when i whistled. Anyway, just thought i would share the latest event in my never boring life. I just wish i had caught the bastards in the house.

Dave,

Damn man, I think you should write a book right now. Wow, "Hey God just start piling it on", I really feel for you.

I hope insurance will cover your loss, but nothing ever covers the anger of something like letting the dogs off the leash, I mean that is just cruel.

My prayers that no one was hurt, most especially you my dear friend, or you brother. I am sure you wanted to do a little hurtin of your own though.

Just keep your head up Dave, a lot of us are right here cheering for you.

Yeah, i figure I am do to win the lottery or something pretty soon. I am actually doing fine, whats done is done. No one was hurt, and insurance will cover the losses. As you said, the biggest trigger is that they messed with my dog who is like my son. This head is up and I appreciate the support bro. Hope you are well.

That sucks. But at least they only took things that are easily replaceable and (hopefully) covered by insurance. Think how long it would take to replace all your smokes.

It amazes me at some people's disregard for other humans... hopefully they will return while you are home with pistol in hand... not that I would advocate such a response... :bangbang:

That's really terrible, man. I'm sorry to hear. I hope homeowner's covers everything and these guys get caught. Maybe with a little luck some property is recovered.
