Ok guys I have had a Cigar Oasis XL for about 4 months now and it was used when i got it. It has never shown that it was running low on water, but I have added distilled water once or twice, just to be sure. Is this recomended? I know they sell replacement cartridges, but are they nessesary everytime one runs dry or can they be refilled? Do I use plain distilled or a solutionof some sort?

I used the same cartridge for two years and just kept refilling, worked perfectly.
That was what i was hoping to hear. Any thing but distilled water?

I have the little one and it beeps when the water level is low and I mess with the buttons. I have filled it a few times in the past few months, but finally my cooler is at a perfect 65% with a combo of the oasis and beads.
