Coffee with rice milk?

I woke up this morning. It's freezing outside. My stepdaughter took the car. I made some coffee, opened the fridge, and to my dismay, there's no milk. No half and half. Nothing but a box (yes, a box) of rice milk. I've never had rice milk. I've never even thought about drinking rice milk once in my entire life. Now it's in my coffee.

It's gross.

That actually might be better. I've had some halfway decent almond milk before.

I'm lactose intolerant—but not very. I can handle small doses of milk, say, in my coffee, or a little bit of sour cream on a baked potato.

I had a second cup later and just took it black. I don't mind black coffee; I just prefer it with cream.

Almond milk is rather delicious. I'd not advise drinking it by itself as it can be very sweet and sort of grainy feeling on your teeth. But it's good in stuff.

Are you certain you don't mean mother's milk? The nipples feel rather grainy on my teeth.
