First I must truly thank Chris "Skitalets" for sending me this cigar for celebrating my wife's new found job after a dry spell. I wanted to smoke it sooner but just couldn't find the time to really give it my full attention until Memorial Day.

Sorry for the fuzzy pic. The sun was so bright I couldn't see my screen when I snapped the pic.
It was later in the day I got to sit back and enjoy a few hours of piece and quite. We had a long day of visiting family and visiting Fort Custer National Cemetery to place flowers on my grandparents headstone. It was a beautiful day and I just love that place. They take such good care of the grounds and make sure all who are resting there are taken care of with honor and respect. Although I hope it's quite a while...I take pleasure in knowing it will be my final resting place down the road.
Onto the review...

Everything about this cigar screams perfection. The feel, the weight, the wrapper, and size. I find it very comparable in construction to the Cohiba Behike.

First Third
This cigar had a very nice sweet smell to it however the tip was salty which complemented the taste of sweet grass and earth off the lite. This flavor was very bold through the first inch and started to settle down into what I picked up as hints of coco and roasted coffee.
Second Third
The sweet grassyness has settled a bit letting the coco and coffee come into play more. The draw is a bit tight so the smoke isn't thick but the amount seems to just right for this cigar. I am starting to have some burn issues but it could be because I'm dragging on it a bit hard. So far the cigar has maintained a solid medium on the strength letting the flavors settle and stay pronounced.
Final Third
This is where I start tasting some solid nuttyness to the cigar. The coco and earthness have gotten stronger as well so with each puff I'm getting a mixed bag of great flavors. It seems to get hotter on the tongue closer to the end but not hot to the touch. With a solid two hours of smoking it was very hard to put this cigar down.

Final Thoughts
Exceptional smoke in my opinion.
Seeing how it's the second LE from Cohiba I've ever had (First being a Behike) I'd love to afford to have a couple more of these on hand just to see how they age. Personally I can't justify the cost of most LE's of this caliber so without the graciousness of Chris sending me this, I probably never would have gotten the chance to smoke one.
Again I thank you Chris for this wonderful cigar and I hope you all enjoyed the review!

Thanks for the great review!

I have one sitting in my humi, I'm just waiting for the perfect time. It's one of about 6 cigars I own, that I refuse to smoke unless the time is absolutely perfect.

Glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for sharing an awesome review! I am looking forward to seeing what these can do with time, I'm just pretending I'm out of them so I'm not tempted to smoke them. :)

Nice review, glad you enjoyed it!
Btw the Behike is regular production not an EL!

I love these cigars! I think they have the legs to age very well!!
