cohiba behike 56 (20th anniversary Partagas edition)

Looking for more information on this cigar. Price point. How many were made. Why it wears the partagas band but is otherwise in normal Behike boxes. I can get better photos if needed. Thanks for any answers you may have.

Standard Behike with an added band that was given out during the Partagas Festival. Many different cigars are given this treatment... some are sold in humidors to raise money, some are given out at the events etc. Off the top of my head I'm not sure the exact details on these Behikes but my guess is they were sold in special boxes or humidors. The cigar itself is nothing out of the ordinary, just an added band.

And looking more closely at the pics, I see mold and the 2nd bands are moved up pretty far overlapping the Behike band. I would make sure they aren't fake as I have seen some fake cigars with those Partagas Festival bands.

Those are just regular BHK56's with an added Partagas band. They tend to get put into the fancy desktop humidors they auction off during the Partagas Festival. I've watched as Hamlet grabbed boxes of Lusi's and Salamones off the shelf and filled the humi's up. Someone else did the banding. IIRC, the boxes he pulled had the bands on them already. A buddy of mine bought two Connie A boxes in November. When he opened them up for inspection, they had the Partagas band on them. He bought both on site, no issues.
