This came from a box coded ESL NOV17 This cigar had a beautiful light brown wrapper with consistent color.texture, and firmness throughout the barrel and minimal visible veins. The characteristic 3 seam cap was very visible, nicely applied and cut cleanly. It lit easily and the burn line remained razor sharp throughout the smoke which was a little over an hour. The draw was perfect and while this was not overly complex in flavor it did achieve and maintain a very nice balance with a prominent earthy flavor, a subtle sweetness especially in the last third and a very subtle floral note. For me this hit all the marks construction, appearance, draw and balance perfectly. I’m glad that this was my first CC and set a pretty high bar.
