Anyone have any good picks of a Cohiba Piramid EL 2006? I got one as a gift from a friend who just got back from Jamaca. It looks spot on, band and all. Looks size, color, cohiba band, EL band. Just want to make sure.

That's usually a very telling sign. High number of fakes in JA. Hopefully you got a real one. Maybe you could post pics (temporarily) of the one you got?
I will grab the camera, and take some shots of it. I gave the band to her, I inspected the band, side by side to one I know is real, band looks authentic. So I put a self made band on in it's place, I still have the EL sticker on it. So I will take a few shots and let you guys decide.

You should ask her what kind of PACKAGING the cigar was in when she bought it.
i agree with greg, fire it up!!...if it was a box of 06 limitada in question, then it would be worth checking out to see if they were real...its one stick, its from jamaica, chances are, and i'm sorry to say kelly its a fake.. so try to enjoy it.. like greg said its the thought that counts.
$8 bucks, another ominous sign it is almost positively fake. If not bought at a LCdH, then will a fake Cuban cigar.

What is LCdH?
La Casa del Habanos. The only true officially authorized store to sell the branded Cuban cigars. If not bought at an LCdH, than basically guaranteed to not be a real Cuban cigar.

JJ Fox, Davidoff, and Dunhill in London certainly were not selling fakes.
They are not located in Jamaica man. Those companies were in business before LCdH stores were basically franchised to sell is how I thought things went.
