Ok Brothers here it is, a review of the Cohiba Siglo 111. I know I said I was going to hold off until at least three weeks, but again I lied. I could not hold of any longer, I was getting tired looking in the humi every day and wiping my chin off. Please cvm4 forgive me, Im weak.
The first thing that comes to mind while looking at this Habana is OMG its so beautiful, and the construction is perfect. It feels so silky smooth, with no visible stems, almost velvety to the touch its not that heavy in the hand but its very firm. And the aroma can almost put you into dreamland. Very strong musky spicy flavor, with over tones of coffee and leather.
After the aroma takes you away you get much exited in anticipation of the light but lets not put the horse before the cart. Out comes the Palio and I cut the head. The dry draw intensifies all the flavors of the aroma two fold. The draw itself has just the right amount of resistance, and the finish on the dry draw is amazing it last longer than most lit cigars.
Toasting the foot was an enjoyment in itself, the aromas of the cigar intensified 4 fold. Striking my head with a book helped convince me I wasnt asleep and dreaming. Now lighting the cigar and taking in the first draw was eye opening. By the way where is that book.
The flavors of musky spicy coffee and leather were now accompanied by under tone of a sweet nutty flavor. The finish never stops, and the book no longer works. The lit end of the cigar keeps a razor sharp edge throughout. Towards the end it started to pick up a little pepper flavor to it.
This is one cigar that you need a stubber so you wont burn your fingers severally. As for as how I would rate this cigar that would be simple it can stand head and shoulders with any cigar that exist today. I rate it a 10 of 10.
