Pre-light draw was good with an earthy tobacco taste. Nice natural colored wrapper with very small veins, nice firm feel to the cigar.
Upon lighting draw was excellent, rich tobacco with a hint of leathery and a light spice/pepper taste. Producing a great volume of smoke without a loose draw. Medium body/strength, not very complex but pretty tasty so far.
Getting in to the second third the pepper/leathery seems to be the dominate flavor. It has built in strength a little bit but still a solid medium and not overly complex with a slight hints of sweetness and spice to it. It is very enjoyable in it's simplicity however. Ash is very dark and the burn has been solid only requiring a slight touch up.
As I get near the finish this cigar has again built in strength but not really in complexity. Cedar/pepper were the dominate flavors to the finish with a slight coffee flavor throughout. That sweetness I picked up in the second third was gone and the spice has faded a little bit.
This is my favorite size of a cigar and this one didn't disappoint. Near perfect burn and a great draw to it. This cigar didn't wow me by any means but was a great cigar none the less.
