There are those out there who feel that the Cuban Cohiba marca is overhyped and over-rated. And I get that..as they aren't for everyone. The Siglo line specifically was blended to be less in your face than the regular line...which to me only sits a shade above medium body anyway.

Smoked an 08 Sig IV today while sitting on the beach at my in-laws, and it couldn't have been any better. Draw was perfect, flavors were plentiful (vanilla & cream, mixed with those classic grassy/hay notes that not everyone always appreciates with the brand)...and it sat comfortably between light & medium body.

Not every Cohiba is fantastic, I'll concede that much. But when you know what to expect from them, and they deliver on those expectations, man, theyre worth every cent IMO. If there weren't so many other sticks I had my eye on, I'd grab another box of these to lay down, and next time I purchase anything Cohiba, it'll be these for sure. Never really loved the Sig VIs (good, but haven't had a great one yet)..plus they carry a significantly higher pricepoint due to their popularity. At a 3 IV to 2 VI price ratio, id take the IV every time I think.

Was a great way to spend a Saturday. Hope all the Dads out there are enjoyin' their Fathers Day weekends...cheers!

The IV and VI are two of my favorites...the Espy is my all time fav. So many years of trying cigars and the Cohiba lineup is still what I compare other cigars too....yes, they're that good.

I'm usually with you, Kyle. But I've just never had a good one of these. Maybe not old enough? I guess I've only had like 4, one was an '07 and just flavorless. I like milder sticks in the am, as long as they have lots of flavor.

I agree with Kyle. Didn't like Cohiba at all until I had some with age (thanks to Jim). Now one of my favorites. Already planned my fathers day smokes out ahead of time. Breakfast 09 Sig IV, tonight bhk 52.
