re-wrapped? wtf is this kid talking about. Not really though. Had more than then 3/4 of a la ricky double corona sitting; so pop'd her open an took different leaves an enjoyed the different taste.

The 03' is not in the same league as the 09', in taste or smoke. Sorry 03' lovers. I would give this a "B" smoke. Don't wait for the industry to create a new cigar, push the limits an experiment with your tobacco.

:wtf:

This is awesome. I would have liked a bit more of a review & the details of flavor changes per leaf that you tried but nonetheless, I totally support the initiative here.

I asked myself the same question; because ask I changed the leaf's from one to another; I should have broken the cigar properly and went wrapper..binder..filler..but randomness picking the ones that had the elasticity. I wish I knew exactly the type of tobacco leaf each was; so I can pin point aromas an taste.

I remember some time ago indyrob (how's the new location & job) I may be mistaken, literally wrapped a tat with a candela wrapper. He did a swell job!

A spray bottle with a fine mister is always A+ when attempting anything. Keeping the tobacco moist to work with.

Lol, you've got balls, Toast, I'll give you that. I've wanted to experiment with wrappers and such, but will start with cheaper sticks rather than my good stuff, lol.

I was at the Cain release event a few months ago, and Sam Luccia said this is exactly how he started blending cigars--just experimenting with cigars he had in his humi (he started as an Oliva rep I think). Taking a strong stick and putting a Connie wrapper on it, etc. In fact, at the event he told anyone who wanted to to bring up a LIT cigar and he would put a new wrapper on it for them right there for them to smoke. Very cool.

I believe Toast is now toast... (that wasn't very good lol)
I thought he was being a little extra confrontational in some posts which reminded me of someone else lol

Which is exactly the attitude that got him out last time.

2 for 2 I guess. It was an interesting idea to experiment with the leaves though. Not ballsy enough to take apart a great stick like that though!

Sure was.

J: Why 'Sand review'? Or are you just stirring the pot again?

:stickbeat
He added the quotes to the pic after I used it so it added to my post as well. Funny thing I new it was him a while ago. Just by the way he posts. Oh Kuhmar such an outlaw. Why so?
