Hey guys,

Started smoking cubans years ago but then the variety of flavors in NC's pulled me away for a long time. (Never thought I'd go back to CC after Ligas, DPG Blue, etc)
but have been enjoying them again. Have favored Partagas as a full flavor, spicy smoke......any other recs for that full flavor, full body stick?

Not a fan of mild smokes.

Our tastes change over time and esp. at the beginning when we start this hobby. What we liked for the first few months will change over and over and as we age our taste buds die off creating yet another change in what we like. CC's vs NC's is something that is not really a thing of quality over each other but rather a different taste profile...our preference for either is a result of what we like as individuals.

Bolivar BBF is one you definitely want to check out, and the CJ is a little firecracker when fresh.

I second the Ramon Allones Extra too, it actually seems a lot like an NC to me, not at all what you normally expect from a CC.

Forgive me being a newbie but I notice the Bolivar Belicoso Finos are available in a box of 25 or a cab of 25. Any difference in the blend other than the packaging method?

No difference in the cigars. But GET THE CABINET.
Hate to piggy back, but why? What's the difference in the box or cab???
Cigars in cabinets tend to age better and sometimes can be of better quality than their counterparts in dress boxes. Also, personally, to me there isn't a sexier sight (in the cigar world) than a cabinet full of cigars. But some people do prefer the dress boxes.

Would this go with NC's as well or just CC's?

Well, that's tough. I would assume it's the same, but NCs are a different bunch all together.
NCs are typically rolled with "aged" leaf. What I mean is that the cigars typically have 3to 5 year (sometimes older sometimes younger) tobacco in them, while CCs are rolled with "fresh/young" (one year old at most, with the exception of ELs). That's why some NCs don't age well as they are "aged" when ROTT.

Does that make any sense? Haha

I thought I was the only person who referred to a cab full of cigars as Sexy!! I completely agree that a nice wooden box of chocolate colored sticks is an incredibly Sexy Sight:) Good to know I'm not alone!!!
