I was curious if anyone can give some thoughts on the following:

2010 Grand Edmundo vs. 2012 520

and

Behike vs 2011 1966 (if you choose the BHK...which size?)

Thanks so much!

the 520 on the monte end for sure. I probably take OR Behike over 1966, but recently behikes especially 52's have been pretty meh imo. and if you are taking recent behikes than definitely the 1966.

The 1966s are very, very good, and people I trust think they will get better with time. The Behikes are a mixed bag (not that any are BAD), and so far I have only liked the 52s enough for the price.

A relative newb's experience - take it for what it is - only smoking three years and still a long way to go to get an educated palate.

I have a box of Behike 54's (Dec 11) and a box of 1966's (Mar 12) in the cooler - having only smoked one of each so far - I preferred the Behike over the 1966 - not saying it was bad, just not great, maybe I had high expectations, maybe just had a bad stick (remember, it is only one I smoked).

I smoked a Yolanda Canonazo the day before the 1966 and definitely preferred that (Irregardless of the fact that it was less than 30% of the price). I'm hoping age will show benefits.

Have smoked almost a box of the GE's and really like them. Enough to pick up another couple of boxes.

Someone just muled back a box of the 520's for me last week but I have not smoked one yet - they have just emerged from the freezer.

A very limited range to form any real opinions I know - except that I think the GE's are good and priced well (at least at Cuban prices).

I've never had any of them but being one of those winder-shoppers, I read a LOT about these cigars and the general consensus between guys that I trust most out of any CC smokers is this:

520 and BHK 54
...and I swear on my life I was going to type "520 and BHK 54" before even seeing his post.

2012 520 and 2011 1966... unless you can find some first batch of BHK from 2010
