They are all natural, of course you can... I would limit the amount of ash due to high alkaline properties.

Ashes have a high alkaline content, trace amounts of potassium and calcium, making them great for numerous projects around the house. When you collect ashes from the fireplace, ashtrays and grill, reserve the ashes and recycle. Cigar and cigarette ashes are handy too

Feed ashes to plants to encourage blooms. Counteract acidic soil by sprinkling it with ashes for plants like clematis, lilac and roses that love alkaline soil.

Hahaha!

I just did this the other day... Well my father did. We smoke down in our garage because its freezing out. So we had a bucket we would use for ashes and to dump the cigars. I wanted to see how many we could get before spring came, but he decided to chuck em.

Good to know, I have two large compost bins. My issue is more from lack of smoking. Spring is on the way so time to start hitting the porch and to prepare the garden.
