You must have a good lawyer. After my divorce I was looking to SELL cigars vice buy....seriously, though, that's a pretty vague request.....I'm guessing that a couple guys here probably have non-particular special cigars. Could you narrow it a little?

well as long as everything goes as my lawyer thinks it should I should be ok. and my soon to be ex wife already said that we weren't going to fight about belongings in court. whether she's telling the truth or not it's a whole different story. as far as what I'm looking for I don't really know. Maybe old Arturo Fuentes, Taa Stuff, Liga A Rare tatuajes, I tend to like the more medium to full-bodied stuff. I know the Fuentes Arent full body but they sure are good

If you live in a community property jurisdiction, don't smoke anything too awesome else you run the risk of devaluing the marital estate!

Good luck brother! Rule #1: get a pre-nup. Rule #2: See rule #1. Rule #3 use a diff lawyer for the divorce than the one that did your pre-nup. Rule #4: Win!
Everyone says that, but in reality 99% of the population does not have enough assets to where a pre-nup is necessary.

In NYS anything aquired before the marriage is yours. Another scenario where it may make sense is if you expect to make a large salary years from now, like a doctor. The medical school bills are always yours, but the assets you aquire in the course of your marriage have to be shared. So in that case it makes sense.

We still get along. Enough so that she agreed verbally that the only thing we need a court ruling for is the house. Which we both know she won't get. I'll have to refinance and pay her half the equity. As far as i know what's hers is hers and what's mine is mine and we will departure everything else accordingly. So hopefully she's telling the truth and won't go after my guns cigars or tools. Which i have a rather large value in those.

Sounds like you'll be ok...just don't sweat the small stuff if she disputes some property item. The last thing you want is to piss her off, which is what I did with my ex during our divorce in 1996. It cost me an extra grand in atty fees.

Whatever you end up smoking...smoke well :)
