A friend of mine is going in a few weeks. I will be going in July. Are there any legit cigar shops there?

I can't remember the name of the shop I went to when I was there. I went on a cruise and me and the wife did a shopping tour. They take you to the good places. Plus you can usually get a deal doing it that way.

I dont' know about the island itself, but in Playa Del Carmen (where you take the ferry to the island) there are a couple, including a LCDH.

Yer best bet is the LCDH in Cancun. Unless yer friend can recognize fakes.

There's one at the end on the strip in the new mall in Cozumel. Hopefully Mike_s will chime in sometime.
