From what I've read you order it and specify which retailer you want it shipped to. They get it in for you and then give you a phone call. At least that's what I've been told here. There are so far only 2 in San Antonio that are CRA members. I guess once you place the order no more than a week. I hope this helps, and it's not something you already know. If you do, I'm sorry
I called up CRA and ordered mine on Sept 11th. The man told me to allow up to 2 weeks for the cigars to arrive in NY at the store I chose for delivery. I'll keep you updated as to when they are actually in.

Just became a member -- literally a few minutes ago.
Um... I went to order said sampler, and it required your Member ID. Must I wait to get my card in the mail with the member ID number on it? Or is there another way to find out my member ID?
Also, how long does it take to get your two free cigars when you become a member? I assume they ship them to your home.

Yeah, it's not in the E-mail. Just a reference number for the transaction.
And when you sign up, they don't give you the option of putting your local shop on there, so I'm hoping they just send the two free sticks to your home.

When I signed up online they asked for a user name and password for my application. (Literally a week before the sampler) It was the same one for the sampler...
I emailed them. They said you can use the transaction reference number from your membership to order the sampler and they could match your member ID to it. (That's what I did).
I believe the two cigars are coming with your new member info packet mailed to your home. It's been a week for me, but I'm not worried. They said it takes 48 - 72 hours to be assigned a member ID, plus processing, plus shipping.

Just got the confirmation number from UPS and CRA for the SHIPMENT! Still have not got my 2 free sticks...guess it will come around same time. So looks like Monday/Tuesday!
I received a confirmation email as well. I guess that anwers my question.
