Ok I pm'd Jon Huber 3 days ago letting him know what a big fan I am and begging him to come to an event in OKC next month so I can have his autograph. He asks me to email him my address. 3 days later I receive a box with an autographed cap. Autographed ashtray. 2 stickers. And a pack of 3 blood medicine with 1 angels anvil 2015. Wow I don't have the words

This does not surprise me at all. When they first started out, I emailed him right after I had a couple Four Kicks. Just said that really liked the cigar and looked forward to what ever they were doing next. The dude emailed me back right away, told me thanks and said, and I quote; "Hey I am in Nicaragua right now, but I am going to email the office and have them send you out a care package. Send me your address." From day one Jon has always taken care of his customers. He is a class act all the way.

You are beating a dead horse, but in a good way. The cigar industry as a whole is much more accessible than other 'niche' industries and Jon Huber is heads above the rest of the industry in that category. A class act all the way.

I had a very similar experience that solidified my Crowned Heads love affair. About a year and a half ago I had a problem with an internet retailer that was giving me the "it's plume" excuse instead of taking care of me on some damaged sticks. I posted a rant here complaining about the retailer, never mentioning the cigar brand. Jon happened to see that the cigars were 4 kicks though and contacted me to make it right. I sent him my "plume enhanced" sticks and he sent me a fresh box along with a t-shirt, stickers, hat and a signed 6 shooter sampler.

Class act doesn't even begin to describe it.

I need to get my b&m to carry his stuff. Smaller companies CAN AND DO sell in cigar stores, especially if the rep/owner is a class act. Room 101 wasn't a big deal here in town. Matt Booth came by and was a huge hit..now his cigars don't last long on the shelf. Bet it would be the same if Jon came by.

WOW, he's #1 on my list who I'd love to meet! I've NEVER seen or heard of this ever. And to see how he is an active poster here with us on the forum makes it even better to show that he's interactive with all of his customers. I think he's got himself another fan here. Now.....would he come to Long Island, NY!? HMMM......LOL.

EDIT: Now that I see he's in Nashville. If I ever get there, as it's on my bucketlist, I'll have to stop by CH HQ and at least take a pic in front of the building to say " I was there."

You hit the nail on the head. His respect for his consumers is the major reason I'll always have a box (or more) of CH in my humidor.
