Crystal Gel Humidification

OK I have two big coolidors in which I use this in them and has worked well for thus far. I wanted to know who ofter you should buy a new Gal of Distilled Water. I have about 1/3 of a gal left but it is smelling a little bad, do I have to worry about distilled water going bad and causing bad smell/taste on my cigars.

a Gallon of distilled water is a buck, not even the cost of a bad cigar! If in doubt, throw it out!

if the jug got some nasties in it just from opening it, then it could still breed or produce mare nasties in the crystal gel or credo. I would just replace it.

Toss it. I only keep it 3 months after I open and then its gone. Cheap enough investment imho! Reminds me, I need to check the water level in my Avallo.. hehe.
